Labia Minora Reduction

This surgical procedure is done to trim the labia minora for patients who have uneven or thick labia minora. Labia minora reduction surgery is not the same as vaginal rejuvenation or vaginal tightening. This surgery is performed to alleviate discomfort and or embarrassment, it does not reduce or shrink the size of the vaginal canal.

Women with long or thick labia experience irritation during physical activity. Friction during jogging, cycling, yoga and even intercourse may cause labia pain and discomfort. Labia minora reduction surgery is done to alleviate these problems.

Other women are simply embarrassed by their large labia and do not feel comfortable wearing tight fitting clothes and swimsuits. By reducing the size of the labia minora the vulvar region will no longer seem noticeable with tight fitting clothes.

This procedure is done in the office under local anesthesia only. The patient is awake during the procedure and feels no pain and can go home shortly after the procedure is over.

Labia Majora Reduction

This surgical procedure is done to reduce the appearance of the labia majora. It is also often performed to remove wrinkles and sagging labial skin in order to revert the aging process by giving the labia and vaginal entrance a younger appearance. This procedure can be combined with a labia minora reduction or done as an individual procedure. This procedure is done in the office under local anesthesia. The patient is awake during the procedure and feels no pain. The procedure takes approximately one hour to perform and the patient can go home shortly after the procedure is over.

Labia Majora Fat Graft (Labial Puff)

This procedure involves injecting fat into the labia majora. This is done to revert the labia majora atrophy caused by aging and loss of fat and collagen. Generally thin women with little amount of body fat also experience this issue and would often describe their labia as "deflated".

Clitoral Hood Reduction

This procedure involves removal of excess skin covering the clitoris in cases where there is excessive skin thickness causing decreased sensation during sexual stimulation or an unpleasant look for the patient. This is also a step which is very often missed when performing a labia minora reduction. This causes unsatisfactory results to the patient and results in leaving the clitoral hood projecting forward further than the labia, especially from the top view of a patient perspective, often describing the clitoral hood as "sticking out". This can be corrected individually in a separate procedure.

Beverly Hills Rejuvenation

This procedure involves the trimming of the labia minora to a point of having them flush with the labia majora and completely hidden. This procedure almost always involves a clitoral hood reduction as well to achieve the desired look, which has been termed "The Barbie Look" by expert gynecologists in this field.
